Environment

As a responsible player in the petroleum products bunkering sector, Neptunia is committed to the sustainable development of the river economy through a sustainable supply of fuels and lubricants.

Our company is committed to reducing the impact of its activity on the environment through the use of bunker vessels rather than road equipment, in compliance with the green growth commitment of the river sector (ECV). The filling limiters fitted aboard all of our bunker vessels ensure delivery without discharge into waterways.

Our environmental actions reflect our strong will to contribute to the public policy of environmental protection. Accordingly, Neptunia is a signatory of the commitment for the green growth of the river sector set up by the Ministry for the Ecological and Solidary Transition and the Ministry of Finance.

Our will to take part in the energy transition is reflected in the proactive development of the supply of synthetic and biomass-derived fuels.

Safety

Our teams are trained and master all navigation, transport and delivery operations, in compliance with the ADN regulation*.

Our internal QHSE procedures allow us to ensure the safety of all the services offered by Neptunia.

Our captains are trained in-house in ship-to-ship approach and mooring techniques.

ISO 14001 environmental policy

For the past 12 years at the head of our company, we have observed the efforts and progress made in our operating methods and our technical means. We have developed our skills together.

Today, building on our achievements, our vision is to contribute to our success by consolidating our experience in safety and developing our expertise by making our organisation part of an environmental approach. The management system must guarantee the health and safety of everyone in the company, of our clients and of our suppliers, while protecting the environment.

In order to achieve these goals, we commit:

to implement this QHSE policy;
to maintain an effective environmental management system;
to communicate with employees on quality, safety and the environment;
to identify and comply with legal requirements and those of our customers;
to implement and follow our delivery protocols;
to allocate the resources necessary to achieve our goals;
to tolerate no workplace accident;
to fight any form of pollution during our bunkering operations.

This awareness, by everyone in the company, of our environmental and safety impact during bunkering is part of a continuous improvement of our performance.

You will be the first actors of this process and we are relying on the involvement of all hierarchical levels to succeed in this challenge.

Top management is involved and implements the means required for the good execution of this process, in cooperation with the QHSE director.

It is in that state of mind that everyone must be aware of the importance of their mission within this QHSE programme, regardless of their position in the company.
